Never again

I will dissolve myself
In my books, my school, my career
    My tears
But never will this heart be out of the walls again.

In the battlegrounds of love
Where any moment it could open fire
This heart shall not glow on the outside
And bring light to the dreary landscape

Instead, this heart shall remain guarded
  Not wounded, inpenetrable and safe
Within the thick walls of this mighty castle

Because dissolving these walls Is lethal
So never again
       Never again.
