End of the summer.

"It's the end of the summer
It's the end of it all
Those days are gone its over now were moving on
It's the end of the summer
But we'll see it all again
So hold on to this moment till then
It's the end of the summer"
(Theory of a Deadman)

Here we are now all together at the finish line of high school and now at the starting line of college life but this time the paths will be different.
We don't know if our paths interwine again.
We don't know if we stay who we are (I hope not, I hope everybody grows to be better than who they are now)
But somewhere we'll hold onto this summer. This summer I like to believe to be our time in high school and now.
It's so strange to be having this peak out of our shells as we ready ourselves to step out in the real world. But there's just this little thing that I want:
I want that irrespective of wherever you go, how old you get, how many kids you have and just how much of the real big bad world you have seen that you don't let go of this magic that you all hold in you right now. That little magic of wonder. Don't let it get clouded and lost somewhere in childish memories cause let me tell you this is something so beautiful that you'll regret ever letting it go. So for what it's worth don't let go of the magic in your curious eyes, the magic in those amazing smiles, the magic in your being.

I want that wherever you go from here, you remember that success isn't really your bank balance or status symbol. In real terms I believe "To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have truly succeeded." (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Remember that.

Know that you all are great people, humanly flawed - you can either make the best or worst of it. Know that I know you all are capable of finding such true success.  Know that even though this summer of our life has passed, it will stay in all of our hearts as a sweet memory that we'll recite in our days in future. Know that "a leap of faith" is worth it. Know that this summer with all of you people has been amazing for me.
I'm glad to have had the pleasure of spending this summer of my life with such beautiful people having all our crazy, stupid, sad moments.

Try taking a leap of faith. Like somebody? Tell them. See someone interesting you'd want to befriend? Say Hi. Try a leap of faith. Got this opportunity but confused. Try taking a leap of faith. It's better to not regret not doing.
Anyway. So to all you people shedding your old skins, your shells, your etc etc and coming into this new and long journey. All the best.
I know that even though it's the end of the summer. We'll look back, of course.  We gotta move on, of course.
But let's just hold onto these moments till we our paths interwine again.
Till then.

Hasta la vista amigos.
Love! Peace! Change your worlds! :)

P.S. More of the song, do listen! :
Say goodbye to the warm breeze
We could be almost anywhere
I'll miss you till the next time
I hope i see you there
I hope i see you back here.
Rides almost over
It's getting colder
Take one last look
Before it passes by before it passes you by
